History & Tradition
Salerno Dairy Products Limited opened in Hamilton, Ontario in 1962, when our founder, Carmine Marzaro worked at his trade to develop the many fine traditional Italian Cheeses we now market.
Carmine’s family and friends have successfully carried on this tradition. Over the years, Salerno has imported many other cheeses and fine foods, which are sold at major chain stores across Canada. Salerno also supplies Food Service, Banquet Halls Pizzerias, and Restaurants with their fine products.
