Soft Cheese

Soft cheese can be enjoyed in many ways. Mascarpone, for example, has become a staple cheese in many delicious desserts as well as part of numerous every day recipes. Ricotta cheese is also an important ingredient in recipes. Bocconcini on a bed of tomatoes, garnished with fresh basil, makes for a delicious appetizer. But make no mistake. All of the soft cheese, including Brie, Tuma, and all the ones mentioned above, are an excellent, and essential addition to your cheese board. Soft cheese should be stored in an air-tight container in a lower section of your refrigerator. Remove from the refrigerator and keep at room temperature up to 1 hour prior to serving for the cheese to reach its ultimate flavour.
