CONTEST RULES and REGULATIONS
1. General: No purchase necessary. The contest is open to residents of the Province of Ontario, Canada who are 19 years of age or older at the time of contest entry. The contest is sponsored by Salerno Dairy Products Limited (the “Contest Sponsor”). You are not eligible to enter and will be disqualified if: 1) You are a food professional, such as a chef, food writer or food home economist who creates recipes for pay; 2) You are an employee of the Contest Sponsor or its subsidiaries and affiliated food companies or its agencies; or a member of the immediate household of such employees; or 3) The recipe submitted is not original. Selected entrants will be required to certify that they are not a food professional, employee of the Contest Sponsor and that the recipe submitted is original.

2. Entries: Only online entries received through www.salernodairy.com will be considered for the Formaggio Magazine Spring/Summer 2012 Recipe Contest (the “Contest”). The Contest begins September 13, 2011. Enter your original recipe using Salerno Dairy Products Limited products, along with details of the recipe, your name, address, province, postal code, age and daytime telephone number on the form provided. List every recipe ingredient (including garnishes) with exact measurements and complete directions. Entry is limited to one recipe per household. Recipe submission deadline is 11:59 pm December 30, 2011 (the “Closing Date”).

3. Prizes: The winning recipe, as selected in accordance with section 4 below, will be published in the Spring/Summer 2012 publication of Formaggio Magazine and the contestant who submits the winning recipe shall be awarded either a Salerno Dairy Products Limited gift card or Salerno Dairy Products Limited gift basket, maximum retail value of the prize shall be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).

4. Judging the Recipes: All entries will be judged by the quality of the recipe, including creativity and ease of preparation. Judging will be carried by chefs selected by the Contest Sponsor (the “Contest Judges”). Entries must be newly created and the original recipe of the entrant. You will be disqualified if the recipe you have submitted has been previously published, including but not limited to recipes in major cookbooks, in magazines, websites on the internet and from food companies. The selected entrant will be required to certify, on information or belief, that his or her recipe has not been published or publicized. The recipe must also contain Salerno Dairy Products Limited products.
On January 5, 2012 the winning recipe will be selected by the Contest Judges and the winning contestant will be contacted by telephone on January 9, 2012.

5. Claiming the Prize: To claim the prize, the winning contestant must correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered bymail or by telephone at a mutually agreed upon time, and must sign a declaration and release form, confirming compliance with the contest rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded and releasing the Contest Sponsor from any liability in connection with the awarding and the use of the prize. If a selected finalist does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, does not sign the declaration and release form, or is disqualified for any other reason, the selected finalist will lose any right to the prize.

6. Publicity: By submitting their recipe and/or claiming their prize, the contest winner consents to the use of his or her name, address and/or photograph without compensation for any future publicity carried out in any media by or on behalf of the Contest Sponsor in connection with the contest. By submitting their recipe and/or claiming their prize, the contest winner accepts all contest rules and agrees to be bound by the decision of the Contest Judges, which will be final. All contest entrants and the contest winner agree that their recipe becomes the property of Salerno Dairy Products Limited, and Salerno Dairy Products Limited reserves the right to edit, adapt, copyright, publish and use all recipes entered in the Contest without compensation.

7. Misc. These rules and regulations are binding on entrants and all decisions of the Contest Judges are final and binding. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred, or exchanged and have no cash surrender value. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery of prize. The contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws. All entries become property of the Contest Sponsor which assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, illegible or misdirected entries or entries that have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy the Rules or for failure of the website during the Contest period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in this Contest. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest, should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Sponsor corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest.

Identity of on-line entrant: If the identity of an on-line entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain
associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
